Enamoured with Provence, a couple found a charming old farmhouse In a small hamlet. A few years later and after a great deal of restoration work, La Mathilde has been re-born under the Southern sun. A lovely haven of calm filled with traditional decoration: simplicity, comfort and warm welcome. Don’t hesitate, come and visit what it has to offer.... Enter through the lush courtyard, which gives access to the two houses making up the Ferme de Mathilde. Accommodating up to 20 persons, these houses are covered with vines and have a lovely view of Mont Ventoux. The main house can welcome 14 people: • A large living room with a lovely fully-equipped kitchen; • A seating area and a fine dining-room; • 7 bedrooms, two with en suite bathroom (details on bedrooms available on request); • 1 bathroom and 2 shower rooms. The smaller house (with room for 5 people) : • A fully-equipped kitchen; • A living room with dining area; • A bedroom with twin beds which can be pushed together; • A bedroom with 3 single beds. The Ferme de Mathilde offers its guests a family atmosphere both inside and outside. In fact, it has been planned around games, relaxation, and large family meals. For your comfort, you will find: • A swimming pool (7 x 7 m) that is heated and equipped with two security systems (bracelet and Aquasensor); • A garden covering 3,000 square metres with a number of terraces and shady areas: the oak tree is an ideal place in summer for games of petanque, while the small house’s inner courtyard is shaded by a fig tree and under the awning, there is a fully-equipped summer kitchen and plancha in the white garden house and the swimming pool area; • Finally, the orangery has been renovated to welcome guests in search of a little solitude or a good film on the large screen. ADDITIONAL SERVICES • Sheets and bath towels provided: • Heated swimming pool; • Canal Satellite and Canal +; • Garden and pool maintenance carried out by the owner; • WIFI access; • Compulsory cleaning on departure (€200); • House clearing (6 hours per week included); • Transport to and from the airport or train station, baby sitter or shopping before arrival available with an additional charge. The owners live in the hamlet in another house but have a private entrance and separate garden on the other side of the Ferme de Mathilde. |
