Le mas Abondance

Once upon a time there was an unexpected surprise on a little Provencal road.  Love at first sight for a country setting and old stonework, and most importantly a plane tree.  Offering natural shade, this tree spreads its welcoming branches over the heads of guests at Le Mas Abondance.

Let's begin the visit...

Indoor space

The ground floor is light and airy with very inviting and comfortable rooms.

• A fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, gas cooker and refrigerator. The walls and furnishings are harmonized to make this a very agreeable and pleasant room;
• The dining room is next to the kitchen. A large restored table awaits your meals under a traditional Provencal ceiling. A fine stone fireplace adds to the atmosphere in this spacious room;
• A very cosy lounge opens onto the garden via an arched French window. Cream coloured sofas blend into this very natural decor (stone walls and a stone TV stand). Of course, all the modern comforts you would expect: television with plasma screen, Astra satellite and Hotbird, DVD player, WIFI;
• There are also 3 comfortable bedrooms on the ground floor, each with their decorative style;
• 2 bathrooms with toilet are also available on this floor.

The upper rooms are found on the mezzanine that opens onto the lounge.

• One bedroom on each side of the mezzanine offering a splendid view of the garden and swimming pool;
• One bathroom with toilet.

The outdoor space has very agreeable furniture and views. So you can make the most of the natural and pleasant gardens under the shade of a superb plane tree.

• The main terrace is placed to the south of the house and is protected from the sun by natural shade. A table and chairs are available for your meals, together with a welcoming seating area;
• The large swimming pool (13m x 5m) has a filtering system using electrolysis (i.e. without chloride). To protect small children, a pool cover has been installed: it also helps maintain the water at a warm temperature.
• A covered patio facing west is available for dinners watching the sun set over the vineyards. There is also a barbecue.

• Household linen provided (sheets, bath towels, swimming towels, dishcloths, and tablecloths) and changed once a week;
