Situated between Avignon and Isle sur la Sorgue, this pretty house comfortably accommodates 8 adults and 2 children during their stay in Provence. It has excellent interior and exterior decoration and Lo Visto Bello, as its Provençal name indicates, offers a magnificent view of Mont Ventoux and the Luberon.
A visit around this house begins with the 40 sq.m. terrace where we take in the splendid view. Meals can be taken around the teak table in a shady spot away from the heat. There’s also a plancha barbecue. The house is built on three floors, which take into account the terrain through the use of stone retainer walls. The first level: The fully equipped kitchen opens onto the terrace: it has a large refrigerator, hot plates, oven, dishwasher, etc.; • In the next room is a cellar with washing machine and shelves; The living room and dining room are separated from the kitchen by a bar. This large room is designed to resemble a ship, with its high ceilings, open beams, wooden furniture and soft hues. The various paintings are reminders of voyages to colourful islands. The second level: On the entry level, there are two bedrooms: one is furnished with two single beds, the other with a double bed. These two bedrooms share a fully-equipped shower room with Italian shower, toilet, double basins and bidet; A games and reading room for young and old in search of peace and quiet. A table football stands in the centre of the room and there is a whole library of books. The third level: A beautiful bedroom is at the end of the gangway. It has a queen-sized bed and a sofa-bed. Spacious and filled with light, it is ideal for a couple with young children; The fourth bedroom on the upper level has a double bed, solarium equipped with 2 deck chairs and en suite shower room. Truly, paradise is here. The garden has been landscaped to take advantage of the terrain and offers a number of special features:
The entry area has a small patio with a fountain: how welcoming it is to hear the cool sound of running water! On this side of the house, there is a play area for children and a washing line. On the next level down, near the kitchen, there is a small terrace for breakfast or just relaxing and enjoying the view; On the lowest terrace, there is the swimming pool (8x4 m.) with garden furniture. The pool has an electric rolling awning and 8 pool chairs. A Moroccan lounge and a ping-pong table are also available to make you feel really at home.
